This School From Texas Teaches Their Students To Never Believe In Science And People On The Internet Are Outraged

For thousands of years after our first scientists discovered well, science, you would think that the current civilization has truly come a long way and has now established a healthy relationship with it. However, there are still certain groups of people who look down on science—even if they are already living in an age that involves technology, which is hand in hand with science.

Even with the numerous shreds of evidence they can find at the tip of their fingers, some people are so convinced that science is not real that they reinforce this belief to other people as well. This is what happened to a girl who was studying in a school in Texas, wherein her Dad found one of their projects that is ridiculously looking down on the existence of science and imposes that their students should not believe in anything that scientists say.

The controversial relationship of religion and science has always been up for debate, and for some of the more wandering minds, they would question if both religion and science can actually co-exist, given that they give different versions of how our world came into existence. Most Catholic schools still teach their students science though, because they do not see any doctrinal conflict between the two, and they respect the advances it has brought us in our society.

This particular school, however, seems to be brainwashing its students into making them think that everything in science is just hoaxes made to fool everyone into thinking that the world revolves without divine power. Her dad took a photo of one of their projects and posted it on Reddit and the people are in gaping disbelief.

Believing the fact that a powerful entity truly created our universe is one thing, but enforcing children to believe that science is not real at all with these kinds of texts sure sounds like a cult in the making.

Most Christian/Catholic schools separate religion and science into two subjects, taking in discourses that could help students develop their critical thinking skills in living in a world that have groups of people believing in one of them or both. Students should have the free will to choose what they believe in, and not because these brainwashing schools told them to do so.
