Sometimes, people bringing new pets to their homes are not the most exciting part of it all, but rather, it's the process of coming up with the perfect name to call these new members of the family. Most normal people would opt for normal-sounding names such as Olivia, Meredith, Luna, Bella, and Chloe, among many other generic names you can think of for a pet animal.

Some people would prefer to be unique and quirky with their choice of names. Some prefer to have the most mundane and boring names just so they can talk about their pets just like they are people (such as Teresa or Gertrude).

However, sometimes people like to take it up a notch and name their pets the wackiest and wittiest names you may or may not ever think of. There's even a Twitter page you can easily browse on that contain a collection of these hilarious pet names!

The page is called "Petfinder Names" and they post the most hilarious and wackiest pet names they find on an online website for pet adoption. A 20-something-year-old called Jea gave birth to this idea when she found herself browsing through the website, and decided to capture and share the funniest names she came across on the site.
