Confused Golden Retriever Dog Freezes After Spotting His Human In The Mirror While Playing Hide And Seek And It's Way Too Adorable

Dogs are one of the most playful pets we can have and it's really easy to underestimate just how much fun is possible with dogs in our lives. Playing hide and seek is always fun, the game's basic concept is so simple yet it always brings so much fun and joy.

The best part about it is that it's meant for everyone, you can play it with pretty much anybody, including your dogs. At least, we're definitely aware now that dogs are down for this beloved childhood game!

Shane and Lindsay from Irvine, California decided to play hide and seek with their dog. They always have a lot of fun while playing hide and seek with the 10-month-old Golden Retriever, Moose who's quite serious about the game.

A video of them recently went viral where Shane recorded his dog, Moose clueless and trying to figure out how his human managed to get stuck inside a mirror. Dogs are so silly!

While they were playing, Shane hid behind the bathroom door and waited for Moose to show up. Seconds later, Moose came in all excited and giddy, looking for his owner from corner to corner.

Moose started to carefully examine the bathroom while being extremely excited the whole time. The sweet dog's tail just wouldn't stop wagging.

At one point, Moose was about to exit the bathroom, but his owner decided to give him a little hint by saying “Where is he?". He then took the hint and ran towards the sink, putting his paws on the vanity top and that's when he froze for a while after spotting something suspicious.

Moose became visibly confused and it took him a while to figure out what was actually happening. His face was so expressive and showed that he was attempting to solve this seemingly complicated puzzle, but soon after that, he managed to recognize his humans in the reflection.

After finally realizing what was happening, Moose immediately knew that he won the game so he turned around and jumped towards Shane.

We're still unsure whether dogs understand the concept of reflections and mirrors since they mainly rely on their sense of smell rather than sight.

However, it is believed that dogs acknowledge the existence of their bodies and know that they have possessions.

Moose is only 10 months old so he's still trying to figure out how the world works.

Watching Moose playing hide and seek will certainly put a smile on your face!
