Girls’ trips are a great way of reconnecting with friends, and the fantastic thing is that they don’t have to be reserved for celebrations only.

These trips are an excellent way for friends to de-stress and recharge their energy levels. They are also a sure way to boost oxytocin levels.

Having a girls’ trip is also a surefire way to create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

Unfortunately, like with all things, not all girls’ trips go as planned. Some friends may even fall out after going on a trip.

We found a story on the AITA community on Reddit that paints a similar story.

OP shared that she and her longtime friend had planned a trip to Spain with her friend’s friend.

A day before the trip, OP’s friend surprised her with the information that she and her friend had booked tickets to a museum for 2 pm, and OP should do the same. However, when OP tried to, the only time available was 8:35 am.

As if that wasn’t enough, OP’s friend informed her that she had invited a male friend and didn’t book OP’s hotel room. When OP tried to book her room, she found that all the rooms in the hotel were booked, so she had to look for a different hotel.

Yet, all these didn’t deter OP until she was well on her way to the airport and realized going on the trip would be a huge mistake, so she returned home.

However, this upset her friend, leading her to ask the AITA question. Check out the full story below!

"I totally agree - that's not a weekend you want to be a part of, they've made it abundantly clear they don't care about you."

"I would really reconsider your friendship - because it seems one-sided."

The commenters believe OP has no business taking on the AH title. According to them, that title belongs solely to her friend, whose actions towards OP were terrible.

No one likes to hear last minute changes to a well thought out plan. And it seems the other girls prioritized having the guy around over OP.

Do you think OP should have gone on the trip regardless of her friend’s behavior? Let us know in the comments below!
