Zelda Williams, the beautiful daughter of the late comedic genius Robin Williams, has gracefully stepped into the limelight with her directorial debut, "Lisa Frankenstein.” But what sparked this fiery passion for filmmaking in the heart of a woman who once roamed the sets of her father's movies as a wide-eyed child?

In a recent interview with ET's Ash Crossan, she took us on a nostalgic journey through her childhood memories on film sets and revealed the movie that sparked her own Hollywood career.

Zelda's journey into the enchanting realm of cinema began when she was just a wee human. She would make sure to visit her late father on set as much as she could.

For young Zelda, each set was a playground of creativity, where imagination knew no bounds and every corner whispered tales of magic and wonder.

But it wasn't until she was a bit older that she truly grasped the nitty-gritty of filmmaking and the myriad of jobs that made it all come together. At this point, these visits were not just glimpses into her father's world anymore; they were windows into a universe where possibilities were endless.

One particular set left a lasting impression on Zelda: the 1999 sci-fi comedy-drama "Bicentennial Man," directed by Chris Columbus. Here, she realized that filmmaking wasn't just about entertainment—it was a collaborative art form where dreams were brought to life.

That was when I was old enough to really understand that there was a whole bunch of jobs you could also do," Zelda fondly recalls.

Zelda's journey in Hollywood began modestly, with roles in TV films and series like "In Search of Dr. Seuss," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Criminal Minds," and "Jane the Virgin." But her ambition didn't stop there. She ventured into directing music videos and short comedies, honing her craft with each project.

Yet, it wasn't until she took the director's chair that Zelda indeed found her calling. With "Lisa Frankenstein," she pays homage to her father's legacy while carving out her own unique path in the industry.

Set in 1989, the film follows the misadventures of goth teen Lisa Swallows as she resurrects a dashing corpse, played by the charming Cole Sprouse—the result was a hilariously horrifying escapade.
