It kind of goes without saying these days that there is bad news everywhere. Seriously, can anyone remember the last time they opened a news app, turned on the television, or scrolled past a news article and it wasn’t about something that was depressing or soul crushing, or just plain bad?
It really makes you wonder if there is any good news out there at all. Like, surely there are good things happening in this world, things that are happy and positive and reflect some of the joy that must exist in this world.

So, if you write headlines here are some tips that you might need to avoid creating confusion or an embarrassing-titled story: hire a proof reader (or several) and read it out loud, trying multiple inflections, and making sure that there aren’t any double meanings floating around. Other headlines though, come from an unfortunately bad story, where the only thing to do is lean into the hilarity.
