A family visiting Disneyland with their kids ended up in a tense exchange with the Evil Queen, a character they probably shouldn't have challenged. Another park guest, Serena Moran, captured the awkward moment on video and shared it online.
She wrote, "Don’t be weird like this, pls," in the video, which has since attracted 6.4 million views and over 630,000 likes. The video shows Snow White posing for a photo with a fan, while the Evil Queen, known for her sharp tongue, stays in the background.
The couple asked for a selfie with the Evil Queen when she asked the wife, "Did you do your makeup yourself?" Staying in character, the Evil Queen gave the woman a side-eye, which apparently provoked the couple.
They responded by throwing insults at the Disney villain. “Wow! You’re not an Evil Queen, you’re just ugly!
Straight up ugly!” the man yelled. “You’re ugly!
You’ve got an ugly attitude! Stay in character, be the Queen, but…” he continued, as others in the crowd observed the scene quietly. The woman also shouted at the Evil Queen, accusing her of refusing to take a photo with them.
However, the Evil Queen didn't allow them to ruin her day and proudly stayed in character.

The video was originally posted on TikTok on September 27, and was later shared on Facebook by Star Trek actor George Takei, who added, “She’s called the Evil Queen for a reason, folks.”
Thousands of viewers criticized the couple's actions in the video’s comments, pointing out that Disney cast members remain in character to preserve the magic for both kids and adults. Scroll below to see some of their comments.
Always the Evil Queen
The next in line for the couple should be Cruella
It's really silly
Looks like they don't
It's wild
She wasn't laying
Always uses the moment to be the Evil Queen
Snow White had to defend her enemy
"You're very grumpy"
They took it too personally
This is a little weird
Because they're a serious couple
There is truth in that
They'll learn the hard way
This could be a new hobby when you are bored
