Reddit Asks Who's The Dumbest Person You've Ever Met And An Ex-Teacher Responds With 'Kevin'
This is quite possibly, without overhyping it, the best Reddit post we've seen so far

The human race is beautiful because of our diversity. We all serve a purpose in life that makes us good members of society.
While it's considered rude and tactless to label people "stupid", "dumb", or "unintelligent", sometimes they really are just the best adjectives to describe someone. Of course, intelligence is subjective in a way that someone can be not smart in one aspect yet they can be skilled in other things.
For example, not all people do well on graded exams but when it comes to applying their knowledge in the real world, they are unmatched. This isn't always the case because some people can just be that dumb through no fault of their own.
That was proven on a Reddit forum when one user asked: Who's the dumbest person you've ever met? Based on more than six thousand comments, we can assume that there are stupid people walking among us.
A standout on this Reddit discussion was an answer from an ex-educator who used to teach middle school in the US. In all his years of teaching, there was one student this teacher couldn't forget.
The student's name is Kevin. He was in his 9th-grade class and although we've never met Kevin, we certainly won't forget him. Ever.
To whoever asked this question, thank you so much!

We won't attempt to retell you the story because it's best and funniest if you read it straight from the source:

One on One with Kevin

Poor Kevin

Deny, deny, deny.

Kevin, the entrepreneur.

So much gum.

A chainsaw accident?

This has to be real

The teacher wished he was lying but unfortunately, Kevin is very much real

Kevin needs to answer all of Reddit's questions!

Could this be the explanation for Kevin's bewildering behavior?

He probably thought planes were human-type birds

I read this in Mose's (Dwight's cousin) voice

I both want to meet them and avoid them at all cost

Did we find Kevin?

He wanted another layer of challenge

He would be a hit at the Olympic Luge team

Perfect analogy

OP has a way with words!

My baby cousin knows the difference yet somehow it evaded Kevin's mind altogether

The backstory on how the teacher found out Kevin didn't know the difference between cats and dogs

You mean other people live in those houses? - Kevin probably

It's good to know that Kevin doesn't feel alone in his family

Can he tell time?

Oh no, we found Kevin's cousin, Kelly.

It's her ~write~ hand

Where did the taser come from?

He just keeps getting better and better

He has the first ever recorded case of Kevin

Sometimes, there's nothing you can do but accept the fact and move on

From another teacher's perspective, Kevin sounds like a truly challenging student to supervise

You have to look on the bright side, that is if Kevin hasn't eaten the light bulb

Please tell us what his parents did for a living

I'm simultaneously impressed and worried sick

Maybe Kevin needs to see a doctor

They tried but can't figure out what was different about him

As funny as the story sounds, Kevin couldn't have been an easy student to handle

The teacher did say he was challenging, to say the least. Biggest reveal: Kevin procreated.

Who would want to sire Kevin's heir you ask?

Dear reader, he found a girl who had a chip on her shoulder and was smart enough to know what she was doing

Despite all that eventful year for the ex-teacher, Kevin did not contribute to his early retirement. It was a mixture of sheer exhaustion and burnout from the educational system.
As for Kevin, we can only hope he is a good father to his child. What can he teach to his progeny? We think Kevin doesn't know either.
