Being nice is lovely, but being nice to others is more crucial. Being nice to others makes us more respected, more involved, and more willing to go above and beyond when necessary—exactly what we want as leaders.

It just comes down to a choice, and if we choose the other course, what does it say about us? Being nice costs us nothing, and there are thousands of encounters that we will have in a lifetime.

All of them matter, even though some are fleeting and others are long-lasting. Even if a meeting is brief, it creates an effect and no matter how light, a touch is still a touch.

It's important to note that words have the ability to either improve or worsen someone else's day. So it is totally up to you to decide if the glass is half full or half empty, and just a hello and a smile will do.

It's possible that someone will snarl at you or dismiss your hello. Even if it happens, do not let that person derail you from your goal.

The OP of today's story called called the C-word and that's not a very nice thing to say to someone. But instead of the OP let go, he took the petty revenge route and has shared his story with Reddit.

The OP added this edit later on

For those assuming I was peering inside the vehicle. I did not approach the vehicle. I did not look inside the vehicle, nor did I try. I was trying to see if the car had been broken into, then I would have called the police.

For those of you saying I should have acted like an adult or taken the higher road. Do you know what "petty" means? It's childish or immature. Which is why this is here.

Though I am enjoying responding to all the folks who are making assumptions about the person's lifestyle, claiming that their theory is fact then trying to make me feel guilty for making them lose about 40min sleep.

This person parked in an off-leash dog park where dogs are let off-leash to run around and bark. The OP says he was being abused for worrying about a damaged vehicle and wondering what the right thing to do was.

Yet, some Redditors say that the OP was an AH for letting his dog off-leash and running around barking. Drop your opinion about this story in the comments section below.
