Woman Gets Ripped Online For Screaming Over Her Dog's Bathroom Accident

Let's be honest, we're all dog lovers here. After all, who isn't?

But if you are a dog owner, you will know that dogs aren't all tricks, cuddles, and walkies. Doggos can be messy, hard work, and frustrating at times.

And sometimes, they have accidents. Yep, bathroom mishaps.

One Reddit user recently shared a story about such an accident in the AITA (Am I The A**hole?) subreddit. She explained that she lives with her brother and their two dogs, one of which is on allergy medication that makes her pee a lot.

The OP explained that her brother pulled a muscle in his back, so he was in a lot of pain and unable to move around much. She says she was doing everything she could to help him, but she was also busy working on sewing a costume for a contest that week.

OP was making her skirt out of a fabric that was discontinued from the store. She had laid everything out on the floor when she got up to feed the dogs and take them outside to the bathroom.

When she came back inside, she noticed the fabric was wet and realized that the older dog had peed on it. The horror!

The Redditor says she screamed, "No," and the dog's name. Of course, her brother came rushing down the stairs thinking the dog had escaped or something terrible had happened.

When OP told her brother what had actually happened, he told her she was overreacting. The Reddit user says she wagged her finger at him and gave him a mouthful.

The OP says she was able to save the fabric by washing it, so no harm was done, but she is still upset with the way her brother reacted. So, she turned to the Reddit community to set things straight.

What's your take on this situation? Do you think the OP was being reasonable in reacting the way she did, or was she completely out of line here?

Dogs make messes, after all, and it's not their fault. Screaming about it isn't going to solve anything.
