An Artist Shares 30 Comics That Are Likely To Resonate With Anyone Struggling With Depression
"I understood that there are many other Depression Chickens out there who feel the same way I do"

Meet Adam, an artist and a Polish social media manager living in Berlin. Adam started drawing comics about depression chicken and its friends years ago.
When it started, it was a kind of art therapy for the artist. According to him, he says:
"It started with my best friend (I portray him as Birdfish) who planted this idea in me. It was a pretty dark time for me. I didn't feel understood, I had no control over my feelings and my depression made me feel undriven. But through my comics, I found a new passion and it helped me to express my feelings in the funny comics. It was not just a new hobby."
The artist's community on Instagram grew and he received great feedback from his followers. Then, he understood that there are many other Depression Chickens out there who feel the same way he does.
This helped the artist to slowly understand his feelings and learn to deal with them. A year later, Adam is a different person and still carries that dark part of him, but he has better control now.
The artist also revealed that his comics helped him to deal with his depression and he hopes you will like them too!
