Batman fans have seen many different actors play the infamous Batman character, but there are always people's "favorite" actors. It's no secret that some actors play characters better than others, and there's really nothing wrong with that—it's just the truth.

George Clooney

In a newer style "Batman and Robin" George Clooney did what he could in 1999 to bring this role to life. He was not exactly the "star" of the movie and many felt like the villains and other actors within the movie overshined Batman, even though he was supposed to be the main character.

Ben Affleck is an actor who stuck around for a few of the Batman movies including "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," "Suicide Squad," and "Zack Snyder's Justice League." Although manany might argue that he was one of the best actors for this role, it actually looked a bit like he tried too hard in his role.

Michael Keaton

Keaton was seen in two main Batman films, "Batman" in 1989 and "Batman Returns" in 1992. These consecutive Batman roles came as a surprise as Michael Keaton was mainly a comedic actor and many couldn't imagine him in the role of Batman.

Robert Pattinson

Many people loved Robert in this role, while others felt like it just wasn't exactly something for his personality. Although his actual acting in the movie might be a little bit odd and some felt he wasn't the right choice, he actually did good in the grand scheme of this list because of his ability to play the role almost perfectly according to the director's vision.

Adam West

Some might actually say that Adam West is the original Batman because of how great he played the character in the "Batman" 1966 to 1968 series and movie film. The reason he really played this role so well is because he had a true love for the character he was playing and many Batman fans would say that he is THE batman.

Christian Bale

Christian Bale has made it number one on this list of the best Batman actors and he has quite the advantage here. He played in three Batman films: "Batman Begins" in 2005, "The Dark Knight" in 2008, and "The Dark Knight Rises" in 2012.

He truly was able to grow with the character and put himself into the shoes of Batman which helped viewers see each and every fight with every villain as a true life-or-death situation. It added so much to the drama.
