Cat Lovers Everywhere Cheer As This Girl Dumps Her Cat-Hating Boyfriend

For some people, having a pet is kind of an after-thought or commodity but we're not here to discuss those nefarious sorts. 

For you and I, and millions of other people all over the world having a pet is having another family member. Some people call their dogs and cats their "fur babies," and consider themselves parents to a certain extent. For those of us who love our pets as if our lives depended on it, there is nothing we won't do to look out for them. We'd go bankrupt to cover their medical bills or move halfway across the state because sometimes it's really hard to find a pet-friendly landlord. We love our fluffy felines and silly dogs.

The question remains, is there a line? One Reddit user tells a story cat lovers cannot look away from where the line for her was crossed... not by her kitten though, no! It was crossed by her boyfriend, who apparently didn't like her cat?! (Pro-tip from one cat lover to another: if he doesn't like cats then he isn't the one!)

Her story is taking the Internet by storm as cat lovers worldwide champion behind her and how she chose to tackle the conundrum of a boyfriend who didn't like her beloved kitten.

And so it begins...

Every now and then the stars align and a cat and a human meet by a great design. Then a selfish boy comes along and likes to be a priority and ruin the perfect fairytale. Not so fast, dude. You may be 32, athletic, generous, loving and a business management but can you meow?! Can you wag your tail and scratch all the furniture with your long, scratchy nails? Can you make a mess out of a girl’s home?! Wait, that one you can and you’ll probably will.

But you ain’t gonna get in the way of this perfect-Disney-like story of a little, ginger feline and the very serious cat girl. Just when you though she was more serious about you, right?! Well you shouldn’t have gone this far, telling her to get rid of her furry, little ginger baby. If you make a person choose between two things that he/she loves, the odds are you are gonna be the one left out. It’s like when a dude is put up to choose between his mom and his girlfriend/wife. How many times have the girl won?! I don’t see any hands raised.

But, on the bright side, now we have a 32 boy, named Benjamin, who works in business management up for an adoption. Any takers?
