We're here again with yet another Reddit post to look into, and this time, we're taking a look at the Just No MIL thread, which is a popular one that we've looked at before. If you have an MIL, or even if you don't, then you know that sometimes it's the hardest relationship to build because having an MIL can be quite difficult. They usually have their opinions on things that don't align with ours, and sometimes, that can make things really difficult.

So, with this being said, we are looking into a situation that is posted by someone who is explaining their situation with their MIL, and she shares how difficult things have been for their relationship. Ultimately, there are a lot of different things that went into her decision to want to stop communicating with her MIL, and we really don't blame her for not wanting to associate with her anymore.

These situations definitely make us understand why she doesn't want anything to do with her MIL and we wouldn't want anything to do with her either.

The work event is basically when she decided that she wouldn't be talking to her anymore but the text messages really sent her over the edge.

People immediately came to the comments and a lot of them thought that she wasn NTA and that MIL is out of line.

We have to agree that MIL is clearly not a good person and it's incredibly difficult to imagine how OP is handling this.

Yep we have to agree that she definitely is doing the right thing by being done and not talking to her anymore.

It's an unfortunate situation and hopefully hubby steps up and says something to her about her behavior.

I would definitely be mad too but at the very least I would expect him to call her out on what she's been doing.

These people are definitely delusional because we're not sure why she even would say anything like that to her.

We agree with this because it definitely is hard for OP to continue on knowing that her husband still speaks to his mom after all of this.

Some people wanted to know if she shared those texts with her husband and she did.

So many people had lots to say here and we really don't even know what to say but we know that OP is NTA here. Her MIL is out of line totally, and it's hard to imagine what she's been putting up with.
