These are breathtaking pictures of the animal and human fusion.
Hungarian Artist Flora Borsi has created a photographic series with such a unique concept. There are two series of photographs and each are one of a kind. named "Animeyed I" and "Animeyed II".
What makes these photographs stand out is that the artist shares one eye with that of an animal, a bird, or a reptile. These beautiful images have Borsi as the subject with the lovely makeup and costumes to match with the pairing subject such as flamingo or a snake.
Both these series of photographs are exceptionally outstanding due to the visual bonding of human with the other creature with the help of digital retouching. Borsi, hailing from Budapest, Hungary, holds both of these series very close to her heart and shares her favorite from it saying:
“My favorite is the black swan. Since they're treated in the animal world how I've been treated in the past. Not accepted for being different.”
She explains the ideology behind this:
“This series is meant to symbolize the resemblance of animals to humans. I wanted to bring attention to the beauty of the animal world, to show the uniqueness of each feature of each species.
Borsi reminds through her series the importance of the kind and respectful treatment of animals. She says:
"They're so special, people should treat them kindly, every one of them from the fish to the swan.”
