People Who Have 3 Or More Pets Share What Their Hilarious Life Is Like In These Extremely Thrilling Photos

by Elana

When you love animals you have a tendency to want them all. All of them. Literally every single pet. Give them to me now. Yeah, that's definitely the mentality. We can't help it, pets bring us an unparalleled joy and companionship that our same-species counterparts cannot even come close to. They're loyal to a fault, caring beyond measure, and an endless source of humor and delight.

When I was a child, my parents rescued dogs. We couldn't turn away a pup that needed a home and we had the space, yard, and helping hands with six humans around to walk, cuddle, and make sure the dogs got everything they needed. At one time we had 8 medium-large dogs. We have no regrets. My parents, to this day, still struggle to turn away dogs. Right now they have four very small dogs even though it's just them and one teenager at home.

Behind the scenes, though, sometimes all that love and all those cuddle puddles is a lot more complicated. Today, by the grace of the Internet, people are sharing photos that give sneak peeks into the life of homes with lots of pets. You'll either find yourself driving to the shelter to adopt a few more by the time you're done, or maybe find yourself settled into the "one and done" family setting. I'm betting you're going to want more pets after today though...

"My parents have 3 dogs... and a cat."

You have to look closely for the cat but when you find him, you'll audibly chuckle.

Modern problems call for modern solutions.

When you and your girlfriend have 5 cats and 2 dogs and they all love to sleep with you at night, you simply cannot stop with one bed. This couple custom built a bed... it's 11 feet long! Now, there's room for the whole family.

Shoutout to Steve though, who along side Bikini the Pig and Stuart the Rabbit, he lives with a bunch of senior dog rescues... oh, and other animals. It's pet paradise.

"Wife wanted 5 minutes alone... this was outside her door."

You could hashtag this #momlife. It is accurate as heck.

"My girlfriend trained her pets to never enter the bedroom. This is them every morning."

First of all, that's impressive. Second of all, those sweet babies want in so bad.

"My dogs are dropping their first album."

It's going to be fire.

"My mom just had double knee surgery. Her pets have made it their responsibility to comfort her."

This is truly a shining example of how much your pets love you. When you're hurt, they will always be there.

This is what happens when you say "no cats." You end up in a cat-cuddle-conundrum. It's purr-fect.

United as one.

There are 5 very different dogs here... but "they are a true pack."

United as one.

"This was their faces after I walked in the room and yelled, 'OK, who did it?'"

When you have 3 or more pets, there is almost never a culprit.

Realistic as heck.

You think the begging is bad with one? Imagine 3.

"Yes, I built a raft out of pool noodles for my dogs. Stop laughing at me like my wife did. When I go for a swim, they jump up and down at the side of the pool to get on the raft."

"This is what happens when you sleep through breakfast time."

The most impressive thing here is that not a single cat is screaming in her face.

Sometimes you cannot stop at 3.

Announcing a dog to your 3 cats, however, is not always going to garner the enthusiasm you hoped for.

A social experiment went hilarious.

You know you've done something right when they all cuddle like this.

"My husband managed to capture these sweet (and rare) photos of all three of our pets together. I was alone when I fell asleep, but I guess they wanted to join in on the fun."

Who could blame them? Community nap time is the best.
