13 Dog Posts That So Wonderfully Explain How Adorable Dogs Are
Does being adorable comes naturally for dogs, or do they put some special effort into it?

Dogs have been around humans for ages, and all through this time, they've protected us, helped us, and made us laugh. They can be adorably goofy sometimes (well, most of the time). Life would be so dull without them.
But do dogs know that they are being funny? Do they do all this goofy stuff because it's funny to them, or just to amuse us? The scientist can't really concur on this matter.
Many of them believe that dogs have a sense of humor and that it's an evolutionary matter. The explanation is that the inferior dogs in the pack had to develop a sense of humor so they wouldn't take the abuse they might get from the pack leader too seriously.
The other school of thought is that dogs don't have a sense of humor but only respond to our reactions. So if we laugh at their goofiness or give them treats, they take that as a sign that they are doing something right and continue doing it.
But, no matter the reason, we enjoy their playfulness and the way they can make our day with a simple and adorable act. We have collected some of the cutest dog posts, and we know you are going to like them.

We can’t really say that these terms are interchangeable. But if we say (just for the sake of argument) that they are, and you want, a dog that will make you laugh, here is the list of the most playful dogs. Just keep in mind that it is a general list, and dogs’ personalities can differ a lot from the breed’s general characteristics.
Irish Setter
English Springer Spaniel
Miniature Schnauzer
Cairn Terrier
Airedale Terrier
Standard Poodle
Shetland Sheepdog
Golden Retriever
Australian Shepherd
Miniature Poodle
German Shorthaired Pointer
The list is created by a team of animal behaviorists at the University of California-Davis.

The American Kennel Society says that "dogs have specific behaviors that indicate playfulness. For example, we’ve all seen the play bow. Dogs “bow” by putting their rear ends in the air and their front legs on the ground, as a way of indicating they want to play and that anything that follows is all in fun. Even more interesting, research has determined that dogs actually laugh! "
7. I am looking at you. Be careful...
r/aww8. Ivy has a short spine syndrome, but that doesn't prevent her from having fun!

The ethnologist Konrad Lorenz may have been the first to suggest this. In “Man Meets Dog,” he writes, “…an invitation to play always follows; here the slightly opened jaws which reveal the tongue, and the tilted angle of the mouth which stretches almost from ear to ear give a still stronger impression of laughing… which become so excited that they soon start panting”.
Whatever the reason may be for their playfulness, we don’t want it to stop.
