Woman Shares Her Pregnancy Journey With Her Cat That Is Also Pregnant

There is no doubt that pregnancy can be one of the toughest things women have to go through. If you see women in commercials and Internet videos enjoying the whole nine-month journey without any struggle, then they are just probably trying to fool you.

While it may indeed be a wondrous thing for some people to bear a child, the whole process that comes along with it is not really as appealing as the bigger picture. That being said, women, aside from turning to their husbands when they need help with something at this stage of life, seek to find some kind of emotional support to make the months leading to the big moment become a lot more bearable.

Some women may find this kind of connection with other pregnant women—and some, well, find comfort when they are with their companion animals. However, the story you are about to read involves some kind of heartwarming twist that some people would say it's fate or destiny.

A woman found love with a fellow pregnant cat when she found it lying on the side of the road as she was driving home. She did not know it was also pregnant at first but after a vet visit, they found out it was actually very pregnant.

Pregnancy is not an easy thing and most women seek support from fellow pregnant women to keep them calm and comforted until the big moment comes.

This woman, however, found that kind of connection with a cat that's also pregnant.

Here's how they ended up in each other's arms.

Lauren Maners was already nine months pregnant when she found this cat lying on the side of the road as she was driving herself home.

The cat was a bloody mess but it was still breathing so she took it to the vet. Good thing she did, because they were able to save it from its demise.

The vet, however, couldn't keep the cat, especially after finding out that the cat was very pregnant. Lauren had a decision to make.

Shortly after the cat's vet care was settled, Lauren decided to keep the cat so that she could remain safe.

She also wanted to ensure that the cat will be able to deliver her babies safely and healthy. “So I took her home because us pregnant girls gotta stick together,” she said on her TikTok account.

She says she was not even a cat person.

She grew up with most of her nine siblings allergic to felines, as well as her dad so she never anticipated having a cat—and its babies, in her life. She just wanted to make sure that the cat and its babies are going to be taken care of.

After the cat gave birth, Lauren made sure that it was then spayed, dewormed, fattened, and recovered from its previous tragic state.

There's just one thing that made this connection even more awesome and sweet: both the cat and Lauren gave birth at the same time!

“We ended up having our babies at the same time, and our babies became the best of friends!”

It just got to be fate, right?

Lauren couldn't keep the cat, however, but she made sure she and her little kittens are going to be in a loving home.
