Cats and I both know it's true, there's come a time or two (probably many more than that, actually,) where you turned a corner in your home and saw your cat, cozy and sound asleep... much to your surprise. We've joked about cats having noodles for bones, or even more commonly: cats defying physics all together.
The concept of how flexible cats are is not lost on us, but we can't help it: we're always surprised when our cats are sleeping away in a position that doesn't seem comfortable. We know cats make their own rules, the evidence cats have provided strongly supports that.
But when you see cats laying belly up with their cat bodies contorted all sorts of awkward ways, your brain just says, "this is wrong, cats are wrong." The obvious next step when you see your cats like this is to take a picture.
Pictures of cats last a lifetime and it's something we all enjoy. In fact, we could all use plenty more pictures of cats, whether they're sleeping weird or not, but especially when the cats are sleeping weird.
