Alright, let's take a moment to understand the DIY in the crafts world. Sure it's great to be able to make something unique that you think will fetch you money, but before you go splurge on the stuff you need, hit the pause button.
Think and think again. Is it worth it?
It's true that people who want to be good at something need to challenge themselves, but you really don't have to spook others out. Remember the Singaporean artist Qixuan Lim who went viral for her most unusual pieces of art?
I'm not sure if you're aware of her art, but it's definitely terrifying and I wouldn't recommend that you check her work on a full stomach. Don't go Google it, I've warned you.
So you see, people go to any lengths to DIY stuff that normal people, like you and me, would've never wanted in our houses (or cars) in the first place.
To people who like to DIY, at least be reasonable? Why do you throw yourself into a project that makes you and us question our purpose in life?
Unless you see what I'm talking about, you won't understand the gravity of these so-called DIY projects that shouldn't have seen the light of day. Just look at the audacity of some of these DIYers. smh.
1. You can keep them, Lola, but thank you for the nightmares. Wait, is that Chucky?
