Animals are not only a delight to humans; it seems they also go about spreading that joy to other animals. We guess it’s because they have so much love and compassion to give that it’s difficult not to share.
While many believe that animals only form friendships with their kind alone, there is adequate evidence to prove quite the opposite. So don’t fret when you see your dog playing with your neighbor’s cat — it's all a part of the beautiful friendships only animals can provide.
There are several reasons why animals form these unusual friendships. Some of the more social animals look for animal friends from other species when their pride or packs are absent.
With solitary animals, they form connections with other species they interact with or those who assisted in raising them, mainly if their parents are no longer with them. Whatever the cause, odd friendships like these prove that animals are amazing.
We have compiled pictures of unusual animal friendships that prove that these creatures can find family in other species. At the same time, some are hilarious, and others are emotional.
All are guaranteed to get your heart jumping with excitement. After the first picture, we can't promise that you won't get addicted to these cute critters.
