Naming your new pet is similar to naming your first born child. It's just as important because everybody knows a pet is a lifetime friend whether they are still here or not. Just as us humans have specific names we go by so should pets.

I mean you can't go running around calling your pet a different name every day, it will confuse them and you. That is why their name should be special and unique and one that fits them perfectly.

Most people go on how their pets look, like the name spot for a dalmatian or blue for a dog with bright blue eyes. These names are good and all, but people started becoming more and more experimental and silly with the names they give their pets.
