20+ Of The Cutest And Funniest Tweets About Pets That Can Be Found On The Internet

We like to think of our pets as the most beautiful, understanding, deeply affectionate beings we would give up the world for. But in reality, cats are known to be major a-holes, totally self-absorbed furballs who shamelessly occupy your sofa, bed, and your life (even steal your friends).

Dogs, even though sometimes easier to get along with, have plenty of their own soft spots. Let's be honest - we all know how easy it is to bribe them and become their favorite human just by giving them a snack or petting their head.

It can be challenging to see your pet friend's faults when you love them so much. But if your dog jumps on your friends, flings kids to the ground in a fit of ecstasy, barks at you when you're obviously not into games and everything, and if your cat has been meowing and scratching your bedroom doors every night for so long that you can't remember the last time you got a good night's sleep, you might have a tiny bit of a problem.

As you can see, dogs and cats occasionally forget to respect the personal space of their owners. If it were up to them, they'd be stuck with you forever.

These occurrences are more often than you might imagine and are both completely wholesome and mildly unpleasant. And we lowe them so much for it.

We gladly give up our personal space. Take a look at the adorable tweets about dogs and cats we've collected from all over the internet. Ready?

Because cats are known for being aloof and independent, many people enjoy debating whether cats or dogs love their owners more. The truth is that regardless of what kind of animal they are, both cats and dogs adore their owners equally.

One research has demonstrated that pet cats can form stable, affectional attachment bonds with their owners. The majority of cats have the capacity to use their owner as a source of comfort and security, especially when faced with stressful or unfamiliar situations.

Research has also shown that cats can be very social toward their owners, especially when their owner pays attention to them.
