Wild Turkey Warns Traffic Cop He Can’t Write Tickets In His Neighborhood

Turkeys can sometimes get overly protective of their territory, as one motorcycle cop in Livermore, California, had a chance to find out - the hard way. He was on one of his routine patrols and had just pulled over some driver.

A feathered passerby obviously thought he was wrong to write the man a ticket or simply didn’t like the police. Whatever the cause may be, the situation was hilarious.

The bold turkey followed the policemen around, flapping his wings and looking threatening (by turkey standards). The Livermore Police Department shared this amusing video with a caption: "Things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving."

The police officer had to let the man go with just a warning because the turkey just wouldn’t leave him alone. He concluded that the best way to maintain peace is by leaving this turkey’s territory.
