Terrible tourists are an unfortunate part of life. From people who disrespect local culture and customs, to people who turn quiet, serene locations into party central. Tourists with no respect for the places they visit are everywhere, sadly. These British tourists who are visiting New Zealand are exactly the kind of tourists everyone hopes to avoid.

Although, despite the fact that bad holiday-goers can be found in all corners of the world; the entire country rarely rallies against them. Which is exactly what has happened in this case.

This horrible family has been making headlines around the world, as New Zealanders conspire to get them deported.

This whole story is ridiculous from start to finish.

By not cleaning up after themselves, this family has already committed a heinous crime, in my opinion.

They left a trail of destruction all over the country.

It just... keeps.. going...

Fair enough really: rubbish in oceans is a serious problem.

According to an immigration officer, the family has been reported for shoplifting, littering, threatening residents and causing chaos.

The assistant general manager for Immigration New Zealand, Peter Devoy, told Reuters that five people from that group have been issued Deportation Liability Notices; the first step in the deportation process.

The mayor of Auckland, Phil Goff, made his opinions very clear. Using some colourful language, he called the tourists a "bunch of assholes."

He went on to say, “telling visitors to New Zealand to go home is pretty unusual behaviour by Kiwis, but in the case of tourists from Liverpool who have been creating mayhem around Auckland it’s totally justified”

Naturally, the internet had some thoughts.
