`He loved his dog so much and got worried when it started to develop itchy toes. The dog started licking it, to the point that it had lost the hair on its toes.
He took the dog to the vet and was prescribed to take allergy pills. The medication cost him $60 a month.
They want to make sure that the dog will be taking his medication. So, the owner dipped it in peanut butter where the dog will lick it from a spoon.
The dog was happy about it, but the owner didn't see a real cure. The dog was still licking its toes occasionally, so they know that the allergy is still there.
They kept on giving the allergy pills, but one day, they ran out of peanut butter. So instead, they used jello, and the dog liked it so much.
After doing so, the dog didn't have itchy toes anymore. So they went to the vet to have the test to see if the allergy is gone.
Boom! They found out that the dog was allergic to peanut butter.
Don't worry! The dog is fine and they are all happy now.
Have a nice day to everyone. Enjoy reading this post.

While this poster is saying something not related to dogs, she shared something similar to what the dog owners experienced.
She was also allergic to something she thought was okay for her.
TurnipTimeMyGuysWhy not ham?
Looks like ham is way safer than peanut butter. Surely the dog would like that instead as well.TheWardedGirlHam it is!
Ham works better. Just make sure there is less sodium to avoid harm to the dog.
rizenphoenix133 years worth of pills at once?
No one in the right state of mind would do this. The dog will definitely won't end well if so.
likahduhthehoniNo more peanut butter
The dog will definitely miss the peanut butter. But nope!
No more PB for the dog anymore.
TobyFunkeNeverNudeDogs and peanut butter
Dogs love peanut butter. But not all dogs can handle it.

baba_oh_reallyIts cheese in their case
This poster didn't know that the rat terrier was allergic to cheese. And the poor terrier had cheese for years.
ttttx27Thanks for the tip!
Cream cheese is a great treat too! Dogs will love it.
j_andrew_hAnd its a healthier option too!
Great for puppies and adult dogs. Try it!
sarahmichelleyJust a quick tip to everyone - before feeding something to your dog, make sure that the dog isn't allergic to it. While it is easier said than done, at least try to monitor how your dog reacts after taking something new.
If an adverse reaction happens, go to the vet and have it checked. Because we love our pets, we have to make sure to give what is best for them.
