Teacher Outsmarts Overbearing Mother With PhD
Having to deal with parents would have to be one of the worst parts of being a teacher. Other than when children stick their germ-ridden little hands everywhere, of course. But I'm sure there's nothing worse than having to deal with overbearing parents, especially ones who think they know more about teaching than a qualified teacher.

The story was shared on Reddit and is well worth the read. Lots of parents have high expectations for their children and it usually stems from wanting the best for them. In some cases, however, parents tend to inflict their own personalities on their child and can end up doing some serious damage.
Any story that starts out by outlining the characters is already winning in my book.
Mrs. PhD seems like a lovely lady.
The teachers noticed signs of the student having a learning disability.
So the teacher tried to meet with Mrs. PhD to discuss helping her child.

I hope that's a direct quote.
Ah, we all know standardised tests are the hallmark of intelligence... eyeroll.
