One of Hollywood's favorite couples has called it quits after seven years of marriage. Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are divorcing according to their statement on Page Six.

The actors met at the White House Correspondents' dinner in May 2014 through their mutual friend Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Event photographers actually caught the actor staring at Vergara's butt during the occasion.

The Modern Family actress was engaged to businessman Nick Loeb at that time. She ended things with Loeb later that month.

The moment that the news of Vergara's relationship was made public, the actor asked Jesse Tyler Ferguson for her phone number. Manganiello flew to New Orleans to take the actress out on their first date.

Their relationship was finally confirmed in August of that same year. The True Blood actor asked Vergara to be his wife in December 2014.

The actor said in an interview that he knew quickly that Vergara was "the one" for him. They tied the knot at their star-studded ceremony in November the following year.

Their marriage was hailed successful by the public in the years after their wedding after the couple shared several times how happy they were together.
