Older Sister Experiencing Postpartum Hires Younger Sibling As Babysitter, Adds Chores and Insults, Leading Her To Quit
Mixing family with business doesn't always end well. A vague job description and an increasingly demanding boss/sister made an 18-year-old realize that.

OP was informally hired by her older sister to help during her postpartum recovery. To her understanding, OP was supposed to be helping her sister with the baby and some light household chores.
Her sister works remotely as an online English teacher. She has a flexible work schedule which is ideal as she can breastfeed her baby during her breaks.
OP, meanwhile, minds the baby while her sister is teaching. She also cooks for her sister and fixes up a cup of coffee for her when she needs it.
Three months later, OP's tasks ballooned out of control. She is basically a babysitter, house cleaner, and maid.
Her tasks include laundry for her sister's entire family, cleaning the house, taking care of the family's English bulldog, and doing everything baby-related. Her sister pays OP their country's minimum wage.
OP is non-confrontational and, by her own admission, a pushover. She sees no point in confronting her older sister since it's nearly impossible to have a productive conversation with her.
She often resorts to insulting OP's physical appearance. She even brings up events in OP's life and mocks her for how she dresses herself.
She even mocked OP's lack of a big friend group like most people her age.

OP finally snapped after her sister asked her to clean their couch. Their dog smeared poop on it, so her sister wants to OP wipe the mess.

OP refused and left her sister's house. Her sister called her spoiled, but OP doesn't want to work for her anymore.

Unless OP enjoys suffering and disrespect, there is no reason for her to go back to her sister's

They should have thought about their availability before they had a baby. That's not OP's problem to solve.

OP is better off working somewhere else for minimum wage. She will at least have a contract and job description to properly outline her duties.

OP is young. This is a learning experience for her. There is no reason good enough for her to endure being treated that way.

Are their parents okay with how OP was treated by their older child? After this experience, I hope OP doesn't shy away from setting boundaries in the future.
If she doesn't speak up for herself, she will find herself in the same situation over and over again. Her sister will soon appreciate how much hard work OP has been doing all this time while she was away, thinking of more tasks to add to her plate.
