Creative Artist Re-Creates Classic NES Video Game Scenes And It Hits You Right In The Euphoric Nostalgia

Gen X'ers and Millennials are about to wet their lips with eager anticipation because it's not every day that a walk down happy memory lane is so satisfying, but today it's most definitely satisfying! The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is an 8-bit third-generation home video game console produced by Nintendo and made its debut in American in October of 1985.

The NES had an available color palette of 48 colors and 6 grays, and by today's mind-blowing artistic standards, that's... well, that's nothing! Creative mind Andrés Moncayo decided to take some of his favorite 8-bit scenes from the 80's and bring them at least a little into the future with an exceptionally creative re-creation of several iconic scenes any NES fanatic would recognize.

Andrés Moncayo is an "Art Director, Illustrator, animator, Graphic Designer, Videogamer, film enthusiast, snowboarding beginner, and occasional soccer player." He lives and works in New York City.
