It must be an extremely confusing world to live in as someone above the age of 50. Especially someone who works closely with the youth of today, like this sociology professor from a Massachusetts high school.
After getting a bit sick of constantly being confused by the vocabulary of his students he decided to take matters into his own hands.
When he heard a new word that he didn't understand, he would get the students to explain it to him and he would add it to an alphabetized list of terms, complete with definitions.
What an absolute champion!

The dictionary appears to have an absolute ton of words in it.
“I’m just the catalyst. He’s the cool one. He should be on Ellen. ;Periodt, sis, take the L, this aint it, slay the game, were definitions given by my class.”
In an interview with USA Today, the teacher explained the purpose behind his dictionary.
“I often overhear students in the hallways or my classrooms using words (or) slang terms in their personal conversations, in order to understand them better, (and) ;make a connection with them on a ;personal level, I started asking them what certain words meant.”
