The topic of death is often uncomfortable, and when someone we love passes away it is, of course, a terribly sad time. But everyone copes with grief differently, and some people deal with it by trying to invoke the spirit of humor.

Take for example the family of notorious prankster, Joe Heller. When Joe, who loved comedy, passed away, his loving family decided to lay him to rest in a fashion they knew he would truly love. They wanted to highlight the person he was in life - funny, a prankster and someone who valued a good laugh!

Joseph Heller was a much loved member of his family and community. He was well known as a fun-loving prankster.

So, when he became very sick and passed away, his family knew they had to send him off in a way that would be fitting for the funny man he was.

It seems no one escaped Joe's pranks.

Joe certainly had an interesting life.

And met his true love.

He was a wonderful father.

Joe was also a hoarder.

He was a family man.

His daughter, Monique said her dad “has an unorthodox view of life and I wanted to honor him and make people smile.”

Throughout his life, Joe was constantly trying to make everyone smile.

Joe was well loved and many others also paid their respects to the great man and his family.
