Working in retail requires a lot of patience and self-restraint; you will interact with the oddest people while on the job, and nothing could ever prepare you for things that you end up going through. The more you work in retail, the more you lose faith in humanity because you will interact with every kind of person there is.

Each person has some specific issues that they are dealing with, and once they step into a retail store, whatever employee is in their way will also become part of those issues. You can never win because like they say, the customer is always right (even though that's far from the truth).

If people were respectful and treated one other with decency, all of these problems would've disappeared a long time ago. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world, and people will continue being a-holes to each other until the end of time.

Retail workers have to deal with a lot of BS daily; some people think it's okay to be rude to them and make things unnecessarily complicated. It doesn't take much to be a decent person and treat people with dignity and respect, but some people still decide to be a-holes, and there's nothing any of us can do about it.
