We're here again with another post from the Nice Guys thread on Reddit, where people like to share their "not so nice guys" stories and get some opinions and feedback on the situation. We all know a guy that thinks he's a nice guy, but he's really not.

These Reddit threads are so popular, and people do a really great job of giving us all the juicy details that we like to read in these posts. So, with this being said, we are looking into the situation of a person sharing a text message conversation between their cousin and a guy that they're talking to.

These messages are just as disturbing as you think they might be because it's always something like this on dating apps. There aren't many success stories, it seems like, and Reddit doesn't really give credit to things like dating apps, either.

People had so much to say about these messages, though, and ultimately were picking fun at the guy for being a try-hard and starting the conversation off this way. It's clearly not working for him, and we're pretty horrified that the girl even had to go through this conversation with the guy.

The original post shows a screenshot of the conversation between the two which is just as gross as it seems.

This basically shows just how some guys can be and clearly they're not going to land a real relationship talking about this.

I don't think anyone is there strictly for this and if this guy thinks that then he's in the wrong place.

It doesn't make it better but normally guys saying this are much smaller than expected anyway so that proves nothing.

OP then gave a comment to let us know details behind the story because it seems that some people mistook the title and OP wanted to clarify.

People simply didn't read OP's comment though I guess because they're still confused about the text messages.

We're going to be grossed out either way by anyone that sent these texts because they're simply uncalled for.

This is why we don't do dating apps guys because there are men like this on there that clearly have no self respect at all.

Many people feel this way about these apps but really there are some people who have found love on those apps and it's worked out.

Here let's say this again for the people in the back who clearly missed that the cousin is the one who received these messages from a random person on an app.

We hate that people are like this on dating apps or any app like that because that's why they get a bad reputation. Guys like this need to really realize what they are saying to women and that this isn't a way to approach someone.

It's always bad when you end up having conversations like this when trying to date or just meet new people.
