Every dog has a different disposition, but some breeds are generally a little friendlier than others. Since ancient times, dogs have been our jovial, entertaining, and sociable companions.

But did you know that the phrase "a dog is a man's best friend" was coined by Frederick the Great of Prussia? Well, three centuries after Frederick the Great's time, this same phrase is still frequently used to sum up dogs' natural friendliness in plain words.

So, back to the main question: which dog breeds are the friendliest? While every dog adores its family, not every dog gives everyone a slobbery kiss with its ears perked up.

Shitzu! Ours doesn't bark, is very smart and never made a mistake in the house, comes instantly when called, prefers vegetarian dog food, Is neither submissive or dominant around other dogs, loves cats, does not shed and is as cute as a bug!

4. Golden Retrievers

There are lots dependant on if you want a big dog or a small one. My favourite because I have two aware Golden Retrievers. They are very affectionate and love to play. We also had many years ago a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was lovely. Most breeds are friendly it totally depends on how they are trained and treated. Some of the friendliest dogs I've come across have been cross breeds.
