Ellie Benton is an artist from the UK who focuses on painting both people and animals in the most vibrant portrait possible. She explores the world of intuitive abstractions through painting and drawing, giving expression to feelings and experiences that are frequently indescribable.

Her creations are an invitation to enter a colorful world and use play to honor the human spirit. It inspires us to dance to the beat of life and accept our innate intuition.

The artist has a very instinctive working style and dislike overly planning things out. She never knows what will happen with a painting and she wouldn't want to paint it in the first place if she knew the outcome!

My art is personal to me and I see it as a way of taking a break from the whirlwind of my mind, which allows me to create something beautiful out of the chaos. I enjoy distorting portraiture with a sense of fanaticism. I welcome the challenge of taking a monochromatic image and injecting it with explosions of color.

Ellie specializes in painting both people and animals. She likes to experiment with layering colors to see where it takes her in response to prior strokes she has made on the canvas.

This talented artist uses her art as a means of escaping reality and concentrating on the piece of work in front of her. It's personal to her and how she makes sense of the chaos around her as she likes to express herself through her subjects.
