These days there's no shortage of subpar, low-quality products on the market. You can buy a cheap version of virtually anything, but that isn't necessarily a good thing.

Not too many generations ago, many things were made lovingly by hand, especially via sewing and knitting. Today, knitting is an impressive skill that not many people choose to invest time, energy, and finances in... but maybe more people should!
