Redditor's Compassionate Gesture Towards Mentally Unstable Man Triggers Hilariously Bizzare Scene
Although there are billions of people on Earth, kindness isn’t as common as you'd expect. Indeed, the world is filled with tons of individuals who can't afford basic necessities like food, clothes, shelter etc.

According to the World Bank, about 9.2% of the world's population doesn’t have access to basic needs. This may not seem like a lot until you realize that this percentage represents 719 million people.
This explains why about 154 million people live on the street, in temporary places, refugee camps, and other transitory and often dangerous areas.
Due to this, it’s essential for people to always lend a hand and show kindness when they can. However, not every act of kindness ends with appreciation.
We found a story on the AITA subreddit that tells this story.
OP shared that on their way to Mcdonald's, they met a drunk and possibly homeless man. He asked that OP buy him a burger, and OP obliged him.
OP then bought two cheeseburger meals and drinks and handed the man the burger. Immediately the man got the burger and unwrapped it; he took the top bun off and told OP he didn’t like tomatoes.
He didn’t stop there, but he threw the burger at OP’s feet. In anger, OP threw the drink at the man’s feet, which led the man to call him names.
OP then decided to bring the matter to the Reddit court, where they asked if they were the AH in this situation. Check out what other Redditors had to say about this story.

The commenters seem to be split in their verdict. On the one hand, some commenters believe that the mentally unstable man was the AH for being rude and not showing gratitude, while a few others believe that OP should have walked away rather than trying to escalate the matter.
However, we'd love to get your own thoughts on the matter. Who do you think deserves the AH title?
