This is why we wouldn't suggest having a joint account with your parent or your kid as an adult.
We're back again today with yet another Reddit post, and this one is from the AITA thread. This thread is a really popular one that we look into often, and we love to see what people are going through as well as what kind of advice people give them in the comments.
So, with this being said, we are looking into a post today that was submitted onto the AITA thread and it was one where they're looking for advice from people in their situation. This parent came on here to talk about how he has a joint banking account with his adult daughter and noticed some odd things.
Upon asking her, he found out the things she was doing for money, and now he's worried about legal repercussions in this situation. Really he wants to make sure that he's not going to get in trouble legally or that he's not going to have any ties to if she's getting illegal money.
So he's come here to get advice, and many people in the comments gave it to him. If you're interested in hearing what people had to say in the comments and also seeing the full post, then keep on reading as we give you all the details.
People had a lot to say here but they also gave OP tons of advice on his situation. It seems a bit like he didn't know how to go about this but he's just worried about what will happen to him if things go left with this account.
We hope that he gets all of this sorted out before something crazy happens.
