We're back today with another post that was put on the AITA thread of Reddit, where people are looking to get feedback and opinions from people on a situation that they're going through. This thread is pretty entertaining and usually has a lot of different types of situations and entertaining stories.

With this being said, we wanted to share another post today that was submitted by a wife who is looking for advice on something going on with her husband. It's pretty interesting to hear what she has to say and what she said her husband's reasoning was.

People in the comments were pretty surprised by her husband even suggesting this and told her that this situation might not be the best for her based on him saying this. We are going to give you all the details in this post so that you can form your own opinion on whether or not OP is TA in this story.

OP starts off by saying that her husband and her have had this argument multiple times about him wanting to quit his job.

She says that she enjoys where she works and then explains a little of how they have things split.

Her husband basically wants to quit his job but she feels like this would be a completely unfair trade and how she isn't okay with this.

She goes into more detail of his reasoning and what his plan would be if this were to happen.

She gave him other alternatives but he's very much just stuck on quitting his job for him to be happy. She says that he tells her that she's selfish basically for not considering his wants.

She wants to know if she's in the wrong for not allowing him to quit his job and prioritizing his happiness.

People didn't like what the husband was saying and they warned OP about him and how he would act.

We don't blame everyone for coming in hot and mad about what the husband is asking her to do. People went all out though even telling her not to have kids with him.

I wouldn't be surprised if her husband acted like this all the time and she's probably used to ridiculous requests.

People gave some pretty interesting suggestions to make her husband understand what he'd be getting himself into if he quit his job.

We don't blame OP for telling her husband that she doesn't want him to quit his job because we feel like most people wouldn't be the happiest about that either. Ultimately, people had a lot to say about the husband and many of them warned OP that this wouldn't get any better once they have kids or anything.
