So then why is it so hard to give women autonomy over their bodies?! We're still arguing over reproductive rights as if women are once again property of their husbands.
While we have made great strides from when women were confined to the kitchen, laws are being changed every day that's making it harder and harder for women to control their bodies - take Mississippi outlawing all abortion after 15 weeks, including in cases of rape and incest. A woman is legally dictated to carry her rapist's (and perhaps father's) baby to 'protect unborn life'.
If we're not careful, we'll end up back where we were forty years ago... And as this horrifying Twitter exposé reveals, we cannot have that.
