15 Truly Horrible Men Who Don't Have The Right To Call Themselves Dads
There is no more difficult job than being a parent. I literally mean that there is no greater task than putting the needs and welfare of some people who carry 50% of your genetic makeup ahead of your own.

Amazingly, parents find caring for their kids to be far more tiring than the job they do for a living. They, ironically, find far more purpose in their time with their kids than in their time in the workplace.
It is widely held that fatherhood significantly changes a man. A new sense of responsibility, maturity, selflessness, mentorship, tutelage, and pride has emerged.
However, some parents, particularly fathers in the Western world, appear to devote significantly less time to rearing and shaping their children than mothers. Worse, there are bad fathers whose decisions can be detrimental to their children's well-being.
Consider a father disowning and threatening his son because he did not wish his mother a happy Mother's Day. Again, a father blames his daughter for being stalked for years by a guy because of her tattoo.
We've compiled a list of 15 horrific men who don't deserve to be fathers. We hope that these scenarios teach you a thing or two about good parenting.
So go right ahead and prepare to be shocked!
1. Mother's day
"My dad disowned and threatened me because I didn't wish my mom a happy Mother's Day."
2. My wedding
"My estranged father passive aggressively messaged me about not being invited to my wedding, and then got creepy about finding me."
3. Completely unreasonable
"I have a psychological evaluation from a few years ago diagnosing my son. I'm his mother, and this is how his father responded to his mental health — he's completely unreasonable."
4. Anti-gay dad
"Gotta love my anti-gay dad — I wasn't even intentionally making an LGBTQ design. I just wanted a rainbow."
5. Delivery address
"This was my dad's 'slightly' excessive response when he delivered one of his packages to my address (which he didn't get permission to do, by the way)."
6. Paid Actor
"My dad thinks I'm a 'paid actor' because I support Roe v. Wade."
7. Having Tattoos
"I received a letter that was dropped in my mailbox, and I instantly knew it was this guy who's been obsessed with me since I was 15 years old. I asked my father for advice, but instead he blamed me and said the reason why I was stalked was because of my tattoos."
8. The Covid Vaccine
"My dad has taken me to get shots my entire life, but now he doesn't trust the COVID-19 vaccine."
9. Paying the bill
"This is the first text I got from my dad in the morning — he told me I'm a freeloader because I 'didn't pay the bill' for my house (which he owns). But, he was supposed to pay the bill because the house was vacant, and I hadn't moved in yet."
10. A stalker
"My sister hasn't talked to our dad in a couple of years (for good reason), so he thought it was a good idea to show up unannounced to her college and hang out in the lobby of her apartment building for the day??? I guess he stalks her now (but apparently we're the dysfunctional ones)."
11. Dumping him
"I've been dealing with this type of stuff my entire life — tonight my dad made my wife cry by making a VERY insensitive joke. I've been building up this mass of hatred towards him for two whole decades — I blew up, and finally dumped him."
12. Insurance money
"My dad is refusing to give me MY insurance money."
13. Group Chat
"My brother has some major behavioral issues (he called me tonight crying and said he doesn't want to wake up). I organized a group chat with my mom and dad so they could work on getting him into therapy, but my dad refused. Instead, he called him a 'fucking loser.'"
14. When my dad contacts me...
"My dad only contacts me when he wants something. This is what he messaged me out of the blue while I was crying at work."
15. Calling over 300 times
"My dad called me almost 350 times, then decided to use a relative's recent death as leverage against me (this was over the fact that I didn't pack for school yet)."
It can be an impossible task for a man to try to be a perfect dad to his children; he can only try to love and care for his family and that’s enough. But there are dads that are the absolute opposite of what dads stand for.
