Major events are easier to get right because they're harder to ignore. But history is made by its smaller moments as well, and there's no obvious way to separate the two.

While it's true that who and what we are now is a product of what the human civilization has done in the past—like revolutions, wars, famine, and pandemics, it is also a great thing to acknowledge that so many small details have trickled down to the current generation as well. There are a lot of things that happened in history that eerily parallel the events that are happening at present time, and it makes us think if the universe is some sort of box with repeating patterns that occur after a decade or a century or so.

It's also a good thing that we are able to document the significant happenings in the past through writings, but one of the most valuable pieces that hold so much memory and significance are old photographs. When we search through our belongings and find an old photo album, there is always a greater chance that we would stop for a while and dive into these photos to reminisce all the memories of our past.
