Guy Goes On A Date With His Dog And It's One Of The Sweetest Things You Could Ever See

Let's face it, dogs are probably one the best, if not the greatest, things that have been brought into this world. In a world where there is a possibility that everyone you know will betray you, you can expect your dog to be still by your side despite it all.

Dogs are the closest and best companions that humans could have, no question there. Out of all the popular pets that have graced people's homes, dogs remain to be the ones that have the most roles of all—they are a best friend, a protector, a lifesaver, an assistant, and a loyal companion rolled into one.

It's not only at the present time that this is being proven, the relationship between dogs and humans has always been strong throughout the past centuries. The saying "no man is an island" can be applied to dogs, too, which is why both truly thrive in each other's companies as they form strong mental and social bonds that nobody could ever replace.

Both humans and dogs are naturally social beings, and neither can be truly happy without the presence of others. Dogs will always have your back, and will always defend you until the end of the line.

When the world is turning its back on you, you can always expect your good old dog to have your back. That being said, it's awesome how some people truly go to great lengths just to make their furry companion special and happy all the time.

A prime example that perfectly explains the human-dog relationship is this tandem that was spotted by a diner going on a date together.

Gemma Colón was just strolling along the streets of New York City when she stopped by a restaurant and decided to grab a bite. However, something caught her eye and heart as she entered the doors.

“I was presented with one of the most unexpectedly heartwarming views,” Colón says. “I noticed this dog seated across from his owner, perched up on a chair, acting like an absolute proper gentleman.”

The dog and his hooman were spending date time together and enjoying each other's company.

Colón was perfectly seated in an area with a great view of the adorable pair, and she had a VIP access to the moment they shared.

"[The man] was doing a crossword puzzle and sipping a glass of red wine with his meal. His date (the dog) was enjoying his own bowl of water, which he slurped politely," Gemma commented. "It was really amazing how well-behaved the pup was. I saw better table manners displayed by this dog than I’ve seen from some humans."

Gemma wasn't the only one who was amazed by the particular scene, as she also saw other patrons smiling at the sight of a man and a dog dining together. It was definitely one of the sweetest things they saw in the heart of New York.

No one dared to interrupt the sweet couple, but Gemma overheard a server saying that this wasn't just a one-time thing. Goals!

"I heard a waitress comment on how good the dog was at one point, and the man replied saying he brings the dog with him everywhere," Gemma added. "It definitely seemed like a very pleasant date, with lovely company."

What better partner to have (aside from your lovely human significant others) than dogs? They are the most loyal, most adorable, and the sweetest companions that will ever grace your life!
