These Villainous Disney Women Got Glamorous Make-Overs Thanks To One Creative Artist
You've seen fan art of villains before, but these Disney Divas take things to a new level.

Over the last decade or so, we've come to realize that Disney villains hold a special place in the hearts of many people in ways that previous generations probably never anticipated. The interest in Disney villains is certainly something that won't apply to all Disney fans... but, after all, villains are not usually intended to be adored.
However, with iconic, evil villains like Maleficent and Cruella De Vil getting live-action backstories with all star casts it's hard not to find ourselves more emotionally invested in the devious divas of Disney. Maybe if Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone weren't so dang good at their jobs, we could find it more plausible to continue living in denial and hating Disney villains, who knows?
Either way, as with a rise in villain popularity so comes an increase of fascinating (if not full on phenomenal) fan art, featuring Disney villains front and center. For one artist hailing from Mexico, villains are where the real fun starts, festers, and expands.
"Grincha," has created quite the variety of Disney villain themed fan art before, we're no stranger to this creative illustrator's unique interests or vibrant style. If you haven't seen our previous feature on her, you can check out over 20 examples of her Disney Villain illustrations here.

1. Yzma "Do You Like My Tail?"

2. Maleficent "Do You Like My Wings?"

3. The Evil Queen "Do You Like My Apple?"

4. Cruella De Vil "Do You Like My Spots?"

"Grincha" created quite the interesting visual series with her Disney Divas series and it's composed of 9 of the most devious villains that also happen to be women. (If this series included just the worst of the worst, we're sure Frollo would be here, too.)
The artist is a fan of Jim Carrey, The Lord of the Rings, Dragon Ball, Disney, and Jurassic Park. That's quite the diverse set of interests and I'm sure it contributes to the fascinating choices she makes when it comes to re-imagining Disney characters.
You would find it impossible not to notice how much Lion King fan art is included in her gallery, too. Disney's 1994 Lion King has a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is one of the most popular animated Disney movies of all time.
Here are a few bonus examples of "Grincha's" Disney themed art work, because why the heck wouldn't you want to see MORE Disney any opportunity you have? We certainly enjoy it.
Malificent Vs Jafar
It would be awesome to see a series of shorts arrive on Disney+ that pitted different Disney villains against each other in a sort of "battle royale" scenario... an idea directly inspired by this epic fan art. Who would you bet on when it came to these two villains?

"You Are Not Alone"
In 1991 Disney gifted us their animated feature length film Beauty and the Beast, a tale as old as time, flavored with Stockholm syndrome. The movie has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

5. Ursula the Sea Witch "Do You Like My Tentacles?"

6. Madam Mim "Do You Like My Madness?"

7. Zira (From The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride) "Do You Like My Smile?"

8. Queen of Hearts "Do You Like My Hearts?"

We never know what to expect when it comes to seeking out awesome Disney fan art, but a gallery of devious divas is certainly a fun and creative example of how much variety exists in the world. There's truly something for everyone, even those of you who can't get enough villains in your life.
