Ashley Gibson is a mother-of-three and a blogger. Like all good mothers, Ashley gives her best to motherhood every day, but sometimes (as I'm sure all parents can relate to) even her best doesn't feel like enough.
As a mother myself, I can relate to the fact that far too often we just go so far above and beyond for our kids that it can be utterly exhausting, especially when sometimes it's small and insignificant things that we burn ourselves out for. Things like a1st Birthday party (that our babies wont even remember) or meticulously labelling their belongings when a sharpie does the job just fine.
Ashley recently penned an open letter that she hopes will show new mothers or struggling parents that not everything has to burn us out and that many of us are already doing out absolute best, and sometimes, just that is enough. It was four words from her husband that inspired the letter that is now viral on Facebook.
You can read them, along with Ashley's raw words below.
