You want a cat, then be responsible for it!

Many cat lovers can definitely agree on certain things. We are aware that cats may make working from home a challenging task, and wearing a black T-shirt is a complete disaster.
Even though we know where to find the best prices on lint rollers, we still buy cat toys despite the fact that the packaging is largely irrelevant. But there is still a big point of contention among people who have feline family members - Does giving cats access to the outdoors improve their quality of life?
Yes, cats have a lengthy history of domestication, but they still exhibit instinctive instincts, including sharp hunting abilities, rapid tree climbing, and other outdoor behaviors. Although watching your cat play and pounce in the sunshine may make you think they are happy outside, all that stimulation comes with additional pressure and potentially fatal dangers.
Despite having the best of intentions, those who allow their pets outside still run the risk of negative consequences. One of which is that cats that wander freely outdoors have a much shorter average life span—by as much as 10–12 years!
But for the OP of today's story, their cat got taken by their neighbors. OP's dad has a philosophy: if his cat wants to live somewhere it deems better, he will let the cat do that, but not without a fight.

Neighbors steal our cat (that they 'love') neglect him for 3 months cause they didn't want to be responsible for him, replace him with a healthy kitten when he gets sick and and hand him back to our local vet. Neighbors explain themselves, saying Vincent loved them. When Vincent comes by, despite the pleas of the neighbors he walks straight into our house, ignoring them completely.

Reddit/Spitefire6Cats may come into contact with threats such as cars, poisonous plants, other cats, and wild animals in a single day. You might be tempted to stop letting your cat relax outside, but you should know that it isn't necessarily happier outside than it would be inside.
