"The more things change, the more they stay the same."
Everyone dislikes a spoiled consumer. Karens are pretty much the definition of a spoiled customer.
They won't just make you execute a task that is not your duty; they'll also keep telling you that you're doing it badly. And if you try to correct them, they will merely intensify their behavior and scream uncontrollably.
I've never been able to figure out how these people arrive at their conclusions. For instance, if someone approaches me respectfully while I'm shopping and requests assistance, I typically offer it, not because I work there but simply because doing so is what it means to be a decent human being.
However, it seems that Karens are unaware of this obvious truth. Do you recall the people who insisted you work at a certain company, even when you're just minding your own business, not wearing a uniform?
This is what the OP faced in the hands of one entitled Karen. This Karen definitely belongs to this "insisting" category, and as a result of not being obeyed, she chose to yell until the manager agreed to hear her.

Someone had this to say regarding the story:
Life confuses some people. Like the attorney who put a new car with LoJack system in his basement, then reported it stolen. The police tracked it to his basement, just as LoJack was built to do.
Or the radio DJ(s) who announce that the station has just gone off the air due to transmitter failure. (Is it his ego that puts his voice in my radio?) The person who asks a graphic artist to show the car that is on the other side of the barn in the picture. Ever try that with the picture on your desk?
Albert Einstein said it so well, “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universe.”
It might seem over the top, but after reading so many stories, I have learned to anticipate the worst. The story of today is also not helping matters too.
