When Badger the kitten arrived at Happy Kitty Rescue, he was only three or four months old. Rescuer Grace said Badger was the "cutest little fluff ball" she had ever seen!
But what made Badger even more special was his uncanny resemblance to ginger-haired singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. With his fluffy ginger fur, blue eyes, and a sweet little face, Badger had some serious star quality.
The adorable kitten was abandoned by his mother along with his two siblings. They were discovered by a family after an LA downpour, soaking wet, covered in mud, and full of fleas.
The family took in his two siblings, but Badger was sent to a shelter. Soon after, Badger was taken in by a nice couple.
The couple posted about Badger on Facebook, and that's when Grace from Happy Kitty Rescue saw him. The couple drove for an hour to deliver Badger to the LA-based rescue.
Not long after, Badger met Joey, his "foster uncle." Grace describes Joey as a stereotypical "single dad" who claims he "doesn't want a cat."
He is standoffish at first, but it doesn't take him long to warm up to new foster kittens. And Badger was no different!
Just a few weeks later, Badger became the rescue's first-ever adoption. “We just had our very first Happy Kitty adoption yesterday!" the rescue shared on Facebook.
"Badger went home with the most amazing and loving family. As you can see, he’s already settled in and is having such a blast with his new toys!”

We can definitely still see the resemblance, but maybe not as much as before. Do you have a celebrity-lookalike pet?
