The media is an important part of society. They're how we get our news, they're how we stay informed about happenings around the globe, and they're also a huge contributor to getting the common masses' voice heard.

In fact, the media has had so many contributions to the development of the modern age. In a way, they helped direct the course of history in so many parts of the world.

Much like many other institutions, however, the media isn't always working for the better. In fact, in modern-day, the media has gained quite an unfavorable reputation among people.

When people say media, people think about tabloids, people who would do anything just for a story, people who are manipulative with their words, and so much more nasty stuff. And well, we can't really blame the people.

While the media has had many positive contributions to society, it also has its own faults. Time and time again, the media has actually caused disturbance if not the destruction of someone's life.

While the media can be a force for the greater good, it can also be the opposite. And most of the time, when it's playing for that opposite side, it leaves a path of destruction in its wake.

Being a highly influential institution, the media carries a very heavy burden of responsibility, one that it should continue to uphold. Sadly, that's ideal and it's going to take a lot of fighting before it can be truly achieved.
